This work is ethereal and wraithlike, colour coded version of reality bent to portray a recherché of ambiguity or disorientation. This can be done by manipulating the imagery in a sequence of colour combinations to show a displacement of reason. Or is it hyperreal and we did not notice that the magic or the mystery and imagery are truly esoteric?

Being with nature and surrounded by it is good for the soul. Nature and its abundant beauty is where I derive most of my inspiration from. It Keeps me connected to my inner self. I like to alter reality. So when I paint a tree I do not want to paint the details, but rather capture its serenity instead of just a direct portrayal. I made it full of colours and emotions in an attempt to realize Nature’s beauty. When I bend reality I disconnect and eliminate parts of the scene to observe the main elements in isolation. With the elimination of distractions, I attempt to create more drama and exaggerate the true essence of the scene though my own composition. This work is my way of paying tribute to this wonderful world around us. Water and reflection fascinate me, so much of calmness and purity. Colours are a must-have for most of my paintings. I wanted to convey composure, calm, relaxation, purity, eternity, soulfulness, vibrancy and mystic.
