Rivals of the Decepticons, another faction of the Transformers.
Known in Japan as Convoy (コンボイ Konboi). He is an extra-terrestrial species of sentient self-configuring modular robotic lifeforms a synergistic blend of biological evolution and technological engineering. He is defined by his strong moral character opposing the evil Decepticon leader Megatron.

Optimus Prime is usually depicted as being a member of an ancient Transformers race called the Dynasty of Primes, often receiving the title "The Last Prime" in many stories, in which he is depicted as being the last of the Primes.  Optimus Prime is a great hear for most of us. Strong, determined and kick arse. Has great wisdom and strong aptitude. There is a lot to be learnt from someone as great as him. Here are some of his quotes I like he most:
